General Admiral Class Armoured Cruisers View Class | ||
General Admiral | 1873 | Converted to minelayer in 1909 and renamed Narova and again Oktiabrya. Used as a training ship later in her life before being scrapped in 1940. |
Gerzog Edinburgski | 1875 | Converted to minelayer in 1909 and renamed Onega. Used as a training ship before being hulked in 1915. |
Vladimir Monomakh | 1882 | Sunk by Japanese torpedoes on 28th May 1905. |
Dmitri Donskoi | 1883 | Scuttled on 29th May 1905. |
Admiral Nakhimov | November 1885 | Scuttled on 28th May 1905 after being torpedoed by the Japanese. |
Pamiat Azova | June 1888 | Became a torpedo training ship called Dvina in 1909 but was sunk by torpedoes from CMB79 on 18th August 1919. |
Rurik | November 1892 | Sunk by Japanese cruisers on 14th August 1904. |
Rossia (Rossiya, Rossija) | May 1896 | Damaged by Japanese cruisers in 1904 but she was repaired and served in WW1. Scrapped in 1922. |
Gromoboi | May 1899 | Heavily damaged by Japanese cruisers in 1904 but was repaired. Damaged by mines on 23rd May 1905 she was again repaired and served in WW1. Scrapped in 1922. |
Bayan Class View Class |

Bayan (later Japanese Aso) | June 1900 | Mined on 27th July 1904 but repaired then sunk on 8th December 1904. Raised by the Japanese Navy and served as Aso. Used as a target and sunk on 8th August 1932. |
Admiral Makarov | May 1906 | Scrapped in 1922. |
Bayan | August 1907 | Served at the Moon Sound action on 17th October 1917. Scrapped in 1922. |
Pallada | November 1906 | Torpedoed by U26 and sunk on 11th October 1914. |
Rurik | 17th November 1906 | Flagship of cruiser Squadron in the Baltic during WW1. Ran aground on 13th February 1915 but was refloated, then mined on 19th November 1916. Scrapped in 1923. |
Admiral Kornilov | 1887 | Used as a torpedo training ship from 1908. Marked for scrapping in 1911. |
Svietlana | December 1896 | Sunk by Japanese ships Otowa and Niitaka on 28th May 1905. |
Variag | October 1899 | Heavily damaged by the Asama on 9th February 1904 she was scuttled. Raised by Japanese Navy and served as Soya. Sold to Russia in 1916 and went to Liverpool for repairs in 1917 but was scrapped there in 1921. |
Askold | March 1900 | Served in the Mediterranean and then White Sea until captured by the Royal Navy and renamed Glory IV. Scrapped in 1921. |
Novik | August 1900 | Scuttled after taking hits from Tsushima on 20th August 1904. Raised by the Japanese Navy and served as Suzuya. Marked for scrapping in 1913. |
Boyarin | June 1901 | Mined twice and finally sunk on 12th February 1904. |

Vitiaz | 1884 | Wrecked in May 1893. |
Rynda | 1885 | Marked for scrapping in 1914. |

Pallada Class Protected Cruisers View Class | ||
Pallada (later Tsugaru) | August 1899 | Torpedoes by the Japanese on 8th February 1904 but survived to be sunk at Port Arthur on 8th December 1914. Raised by Japanese Navy and served as Tsugaru until scrapped in 1923. |
Diana | October 1899 | Scrapped in 1922. |
Aurora | 11th May 1900 | Preserved as an historical monument to the Russian Revolution. |
Bogatyr Class Protected Cruisers View Class | ||
Bogatyr | January 1901 | Grounded herself on 15th May 1904. Scrapped in 1922. |
Oleg | August 1903 | Sunk by torpedoes from CMB4 on 17th June 1919. |
Kagul | October 1902 | Renamed Ochakov then General Kornilov. Sold to Bizerta in 1920. |
Pamiat Merkuria | June 1903 | Renamed Komintern and later became a training ship. Sunk on 17th July 1942. |

Izumrud | October 1903 | Wrecked on 29th May 1905. |
Jemtchug | August 1903 | Sunk by the Emden on 28th October 1914. |

Muravev Amurski | 11th April 1914 | Sunk on 8th September 1943. |

Admiral Butakov | 5th August 1916 (never completed) | Broken up incomplete late 1950s |
Admiral Spiridov | 9th September 1916 | Hulked in 1947. |
Admiral Greig | 9th December 1916 | Ran aground and stranded herself on 23rd December 1938. |
Admiral Nakhimov Class View Class | ||
Admiral Nakhimov (Chervona Ukraina) | 6th November 1915 | Captured by the Red Army and renamed Chervona Ukraina in 1926. Foundered and sank on 13th November 1941. |
Admiral Lazarev (Krasni Kavkaz) | 21st June 1916 | Served under the name of Krasni Kavkaz from 1932. |
Prut (ex Medjidieh) | The Russians raised the Medjidieh after she was sunk on 3rd April 1915 and renamed her Prut. She was captured by the Germans in May 1918 and returned to Turkey. | |
Peresviet | Originally a battleship she was sunk but raised by the Japanese. Handed back to Russia on 5th April 1916 she was classed as a cruiser. Eventually mined and sunk on 4th January 1917. | |
Variag | Raised by the Japanese after she was scuttled she was handed back on 5th April 1916. Scrapped in 1923. | |
Kirov Class | ||
Kirov | 30th November 1936 | Served in the defence of Tallin and later in 1941 Leningrad. Decommissioned in 1970s. |
Voroshilov | 28th June 1935 | Mined on 20th November 1942 but was repaired. Scrapped sometime in 1960s. |
Maxim Gorkiy Class | ||
Maxim Gorkiy | 30th April 1938 | Damaged by a mine on 23rd June 1941, repaired but damaged again by German shells in April 1942. Used as a support ship for Leningrad operation in 1944. Scrapped in 1958. |
Molotov | 23rd February 1939 | Damaged by Italian torpedoes on 3rd August 1942 she was repaired by 1944. Renamed Slava in 1958 and used for training. |
Kaganovich | October 1943 | Renamed Petropavlovsk in 1958. Scrapped in 1960s. |
Kalinin | April 1943 | Scrapped in 1960s. |
Chapayev Class | ||
Chapayev | 1940 | Scrapped in 1961. |
Chkalov | 1948 | Renamed Komsomolec in 1960. Used as a training ship. |
Zhelezniakov | 1940 | Used as a training ship. |
Frunze | 31st December 1940 | Scrapped in 1960s. |
