 Photo identified by Bjarne Kaastrup, who says " It is not  USS Maryland class had a small rangefinder on top of B turret in that period  and battleship shown does not.

USS Texas 28th June 1892 Decommissioned and renamed San Marcos in February 1911, she was used for target practice in 1911 & 1912.
 
USS Maine 18th November 1889 The ship blew up in Havana harbour. Initially thought to have been because of a mine, but more likely due to decomposing propellant.

Indiana Class                           View Class

BB1   USS Indiana 28th June 1892 Used as a target and sunk in 1920.
BB2   USS Massachusetts 10th June 1893 Used as a target and scuttled in 1921.
BB3   USS Oregon 26th October 1893 Used as a memorial from 1925-1942. Originally to be broken up in 1942 she was first used as an ammunition hulk for the invasion of Guam. Sold for scrap in 1956.
 
BB4     USS Iowa 28th March 1896 Used as a remote controlled target and sunk in 1923.
Kearsarge Class                           View Class
BB5    USS Kearsarge 24th March 1898 Converted to be a crane ship in 1920 and renamed Crane Ship No.1 in November 1941. Sold for scrap in 1955.
BB 6   USS Kentucky 24th March 1898 Sold for scrap in 1923.

   Illinois Class 1898                View Class

BB7    USS Illinois 4th October 1898 Used as an armoury and an accommodation ship until sold for scrap in 1956. Renamed Prairie State in 1941.
BB8    USS Alabama 18th May 1898 Used as a target and sunk in 1921.
BB9    USS Wisconsin 26th November 1898 Sold for scrap in 1922.

BB10   USS Maine 27th July 1901 Sold for scrap in 1922.
BB 11   USS Missouri 28th December 1901 Sold for scrap in 1922.
BB12    USS Ohio 18th May 1901 Sold for scrap in 1922.

Virginia Class 1904                View Class

BB13    USS Virginia 5th April 1904 Used as a target and sunk in 1923.
BB14   USS Nebraska 7th April 1904 Sold for scrap in 1923.
BB15   USS Georgia 11th October 1904 Sold for scrap in 1923.
BB16   USS New Jersey 10th November 1904 Saw service off Cuba in 1907 and landed marines at Vera Cruz during in 1914. Used as a target and sunk in 1923.
BB17   USS Rhode Island 17th May 1904 Sold for scrap in 1923.

Connecticut Class 1904                View Class

BB18   USS Connecticut 29th September 1904 Landed marines at Vera Cruz during in 1914. Sold for scrap in 1923.
BB19   USS Louisiana 27th August 1904 Landed marines at Vera Cruz during in 1914. Sold for scrap in 1923.

BB20   USS Vermont 31st August 1905 Landed marines at Vera Cruz during in 1914. Sold for scrap in 1923.
BB21   USS Kansas 12th August 1905 Sold for scrap in 1923.
BB22   USS Minnesota 8th April 1905 Landed marines at Vera Cruz during in 1914. Sold for scrap in 1924.
BB25    USS New Hampshire 30th June 1906 Landed marines at Vera Cruz during in 1914. Sold for scrap in 1923.

BB23    USS Mississippi 30th September 1905 Landed marines at Vera Cruz during in 1914. Transferred to Greece on 30th July 1914.
BB24     USS Idaho 9th December 1905 Transferred to Greece on 30th July 1914.
South Carolina Class                      View Class
USS South Carolina 11th July 1908 Took part in Vera Cruz and served as a convoy escort in 1917-18. Taken off active in 1924.
USS Michigan 17th December 1906 Took part in Vera Cruz. Taken off active in 1923.
Delaware Class                               View Class
USS Delaware 6th February 1909 Served with the 6th Battle Squadron Grand Fleet from 1917-18. Taken off active in 1924.
USS North Dakota 10th November 1909 Taken off active in 1931.
Florida Class                                   View Class 
USS Florida 12th May 1910 Landed marines at Vera Cruz in 1914. Served with the 6th Battle Squadron Grand Fleet from 1917-18. Taken off active in 1931.
USS Utah 23rd December 1909 Landed marines at Vera Cruz in 1914. Sunk on 7th December 1941 at Pearl Harbor.
Wyoming Class                               View Class
USS Wyoming 25th May 1911 Converted to a gunnery training ship in1931.
USS Arkansas 14th January 1911 Landed marines at Vera Cruz in 1914 when she was flagship of the Atlantic Fleet. She served with the 6th Battle Squadron Grand Fleet in WWI.
New York Class                             View Class
USS New York 30th October 1912 Sent to Vera Cruz once finished. Served with the 6th Battle Squadron Grand Fleet in WW1. Sunk on 8th July 1948.
USS Texas 18th May 1912 Served with the 6th Battle Squadron Grand Fleet in WW1. Used as a memorial in 1948.
Nevada Class                             View Class
USS Nevada 11th July 1914 Sunk on 31st July 1948.
USS Oklahoma 23rd March 1914 Sunk on 7th December 1941 at Pearl Harbor.
Pennsylvania Class                     View Class
USS Pennsylvania 16th March 1915 Flagship of the Atlantic Fleet 1916-18. Scuttled on 10th February 1948.
USS Arizona 19th June 1915 Served with the 6th Battle Squadron Grand Fleet. Sunk on 7th December 1941 at Pearl Harbor.

USS New Mexico 23rd April 1917 Scrapped 1947.

USS Washington 1st September 1921 Cancelled under the Washington Treaty she was used as a target and sunk on 25th November 1924.

USS Lexington Became a carrier.

North Carolina Class
USS North Carolina 13th June 1940 After the war she was used as a training ship and was then preserved in 1961.
USS Washington 1st June 1940 On 13th November 1942 she sunk the Japanese ship Kirishima. Sold for scrap on 24th May 1961.
South Dakota Class
USS South Dakota 7th June 1941 Sold on 25th October 1962 for scrap.
USS Indiana 21st November 1941 Sold on 6th September 1963 for scrap.
USS Massachusetts 23rd September 1941 Preserved in 1965.
USS Alabama 16th February 1942 Preserved in 1964.
Iowa Class
USS Iowa 27th June 1940 Taken off the active list before the Korean War but serving as fire support ships before being put into reserve by 1957.
USS New Jersey 7th December 1942 Taken off the active list before the Korean War but serving as fire support ships before being put into reserve by 1957. Taken out of reserve and refitted to become fire support during Vietnam War.
USS Missouri 29th January 1944 Used as a training ship but serving as fire support ships before being put into reserve by 1957.
USS Wisconsin 7th December 1943 Taken off the active list before the Korean War but serving as fire support ships before being put into reserve by 1957.
